Advocacy

In May 2023, I was reelected as a delegate from the Baruch College Chapter to the Professional Staff Congress (PSC) Delegate Assembly. The PSC represents the 30,000 faculty and staff who teach and provide services to the 275,000 students at the City University of New York (CUNY). The union advances the professional lives of its members and improves their terms and conditions of employment. The PSC accomplishes these aims, among other ways, by negotiating and enforcing collective bargaining agreements, protecting members through the grievance and arbitration process, and taking political actions for its members.

As a delegate I advocate, along with officers of the Baruch College Chapter, for PSC members at the college. The Delegate Assembly is the policymaking body of the PSC and participation on it sets the policy direction of the union.

If a member from the college or another CUNY campus needs to reach me, then you can do so via the contact page of this website.
